Pinopolis Lock Winter Hours Begin Nov. 3
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The Pinopolis Lock, located on Lake Moultrie at the Jefferies Hydroelectric Station, will begin winter operating hours on Sunday, Nov. 3, as daylight saving time ends. The lock will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or 30 minutes before sunset, whichever is earlier.
Please remember the lock does not operate during inclement weather or rough water conditions. If you have a large party of boats, you are encouraged to call in advance. The telephone number is 843-899- LOCK (5625).
